This free informal, educational exhibition is an exciting opportunity to get close to a wide variety of insects from around the world and see for yourselves that, despite their reputation, they are not creepy crawley at all. On display will be many different species of invertebrates from snails, spiders, scorpions, millipedes and locusts. There will also be animal handling experiences with invertebrates, reptiles and owls.
In addition, information on Little Lizard Rescue and IHS Anglia (International Herpetological Society) is available, both of which are committed to the on-going research and propagation of all reptile, amphibian and chelonian species and raising money for such a cause. They will answer your questions and queries and guide you through how the animals live in the wild and how we can take care of them properly at home as pets, you can even purchase an invertebrate at the exhibition! There will also be tables with animal equipment, gifts and goodies and a chance to take part in your own I’m A Celebrity bush tucker trial with a Beautiful Bugs snack pot and creepy crawley carrot cake!
Black Cricket Animal Services will have information about their pet sitting services, the Kids Club, animal experiences (for parties and events) and the It’s A Bug’s World exhibitions.
Teaching Talons will be in attendance with owls, invertebrates, gifts and goodies.
RATS will be bringing along treats for your pets, along with information about animals for adoption and a tombola.
