Mental Health Mates is a regular, peer-led meet up where members can walk and talk without fear of judgement. Meeting on the first Saturday of every month at 11am at the Pavilion in the Park, Mental Health Mates launched in Bedford in March 2017 and is run by volunteers. Bedford is among more than 20 other towns and cities throughout the UK to host Mental Health Mates meet ups. Everyone is welcome.
Mental Health Mates is a national initiative that was started by Daily Telegraph journalist, Bryony Gordon to provide the ‘we’ to those struggling alone with mental health issues.
Mental Health Mates Bedford: first Saturday of every month at 11am. Meet outside the Pavilion in the Park. There will be a blue balloon to let you know you’re in the right place. More info on the Facebook events page.
