Black Tom Jumble Trail is back!

Now in its third year, the Black Tom Jumble Trail is back on Sunday 14th May and every street in the area is taking part.

A Jumble Trail is like a car boot sale but on your street.  Communities co-ordinate to set up stalls outside their houses to sell bric-a-brac, toys, vintage clothes, cakes or whatever.

This Sunday, head over to the Black Tom/Prime Ministers area of Bedford between 11am and 3pm to grab yourself a bargain. Black Tom is geographically located between Foster Hill Road (Robinson Pool) and Clapham Road.  There are  41 stalls taking part and the Burnaby Arms on Stanley Street will be from 1pm in honour of the occasion.

“The Jumble Trail is one of the many ways the Black Tom community gets together throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to have a clear out, get rid of stuff and get to know your neighbours,” said Black Tom resident and Jumble Trail organiser, Kat Allen.  “There are always brilliant bargains to be had, not to mention the amazing food and cakes on offer too.  Everyone’s welcome so we hope to see you there.”

Printed maps featuring the participating streets and residences will be available on the day, or you can download the most up-to-date version here.  Their Facebook event can be found here.

Happy bargain hunting!
