The last Bedford Flea of the season takes place on St Paul’s Square this Sunday 16 September – with added Affordable Art Market, circus busking and glorious sunshine!
Traders old and new will have a selection of quirky collectables, fabulous furniture, pre-loved books, rural bygones, vintage, vinyl, jewellery and clothing. The Affordable Art Market welcomes some of Bedford’s best artists, photographers and illustrators, plus the Children’s Book Illustration gallery (based at Rogan’s Books on Castle Lane) will showcasing affordable work by the likes of Chris Riddell, Nick Sharratt and more. Artist Caitlin Gardener will not only be selling her cards and gifts, but also offering her ever-popular ‘while you wait’ portraits.
Entertainment will be provided by Circus Buskers, performing incredible feats and making balloon animals.
From 11am – 4pm, Bedford Flea is the perfect way to make the most of the last days of Summer. It’s a great place to meet up with friends, take the whole family and spend the day bargain hunting and exploring Bedford.
“We can’t believe this year’s Flea season is already at an end,” said trader, Nikkita Palmer. “Roll on Spring 2019 so we can do it all again!”
