We joined the July class and began the morning with a tour of the beautiful walled garden in Renhold as Jane talked about the flowers they grow and the varieties that are available at this time of year. After being shown how to cut flowers, we were let loose with our secateurs to wander through the garden cutting whatever took our fancy.
Once we’d chosen our blooms, florist Catherine Elworthy taught us the art of making a hand-tied bouquet. We then celebrated our incredibly hard work with tea and cakes.
Bouquet workshops are becoming increasingly popular as presents for people as a relaxing treat and also as something a little bit different to do with friends. It’s perfect for special birthday get-togethers, hen parties or work team-building.
23rd August and 21st September.
Catherine can also create bespoke floristry workshops. For more information or to book a workshop, contact Catherine at firstname.lastname@example.org
