Seven Ages of Man – presented by Gaude professional chamber choir

Saturday 15 September at Bedford School Chapel (off De Parys Avenue).

‘One man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.’ William Shakespeare

Experience a fresh perspective on the human condition through some of the most striking choral music of the last five hundred years.  The evening begins with John Tavener’s epic celebration of the miracle of birth Mother and Child. Monteverdi, master of the racy madrigal, gives us our piece for love; from Josquin we have Mille Regretz and from Eric Whitacre Sleep.

Gaude is Bedford’s professional chamber choir and includes singers from some of this country’s most celebrated choirs.
