First up is Tom and Andreas who own The Longholme and The Kiosk, both of which are currently closed.

“When you open a business, you start a journey into the unknown. This picture was taken on the day we opened in 2017. Along the imaginations of your journey, something like a global virus outbreak is never in the plans, but it’s now everyone’s problem & impacts our local community directly”

“When we opened The Longholme we set a high standard and a basic requirement to look after our guests. During the outbreak we have assessed each update from the government and conducted our own risk assessments, with the main question being – can we safeguard against this and operate responsibly?”

“While we personally do need coffee to operate daily, sadly it would be non-essential unless you enjoy it at home (for the moment). Now we look forward to what we can take from 2020 at The Longholme and re-launching The Kiosk, in Russell park when this all passes. Look after yourselves everyone!”

Which restaurant will you go to first?
Nonnas in Woburn sands- The food is great, it’s independent and has a comfortable setting. We love it.

Where will you buy your first pint?
The White Horse! Newnham avenue, Love to Lucy, Steve and the team.

Where will  you buy your first coffee?
We don’t buy coffee darling … we know where to go.

Which shop will you head to first and what will you buy?
B&Q – PAINT!  & Magic garden florists in The Arcade, for more house plants!

Where will you go on your first out of town trip?
To the coast, Brighton would be a good pin drop location to take it all in. Or London for one BIG PARTY night.

Where will your first walk be?
Further afield, Harrold country park.

What’s the main thing you have missed? e.g live music, pubs, eating out, cinema, exercise etc
We’re missing our regular customers. We’re missing the buzz of being busy generally, it’s odd but we have more time to drink tea ourselves now (+ the pub obviously).

First sporting or outdoor activity (to watch or participate in)?
Rowing a Viking boat up and down that wonderful lake of ours.
